Our Mission

Our mission is to offer a year-round day camp experience that fosters independence, confidence, and a sense of self for individuals with developmental disabilities, while providing much-needed respite for their caregivers.

Our History

Camp Horizon was founded with the vision of creating a unique space where individuals with developmental disabilities could enjoy a wide range of activities in an inclusive environment. Since our inception, we have grown and evolved, continuously expanding our programs and services to better serve our community. Our camp is situated on a beautiful 6-acre farmland in Abington, MD, offering a serene and nurturing setting for our participants.
